blog entry number 2

i've wanted to make a website for a long time now... i finally decided to take the plunge. the goal is to have it be a hybrid personal/music website. idk, i've always kind of used social media half personally and half for music anyway so this feels like the logical conclusion. social media has also been getting worse and worse (with ai+transphobia among other things) so it's nice to have something that's an escape from that.

i've coded before in college but tbh i would not say i "know how" to code, so putting together a website has been a bit of a journey. i've been referencing a lot of other neocities websites (lydels, cinni, and the deadair records website to name a few. i plan on putting together a full list of references/credits once my site is more finished.

my girlfriend audrey has also been trying to redo her website so we've been able to share ideas and motivate each other. we were hanging out last weekend watching css tutorial videos lol. idk! it's been a fun learning process and i'm excited to keep working and see how my website progresses with time >⩊<
